Why “You Bet!”?

When searching for a name there are so many choices. We wanted to focus on something local, something fun, and something positive.

Out riding one day we came across the abandoned town of You Bet and got curious. Turns out some miners east of Grass Valley ended up in Lazarus Beard’s local saloon and asked him what their new mining town should be called. Lazarus liked all of the names and kept replying with “You Bet!” after every suggestion. Hearing it enough times, the miners named their town You Bet, CA.

The name You Bet! is perfect for us too — locally sourced, a sense of community, and a “can do” attitude. We welcome all skills, budgets, and styles of riding — and our answer to any of your questions will simply be, You Bet!.
